Mistake #1: Your Targeting is Way Too Broad

Picture this: You’re throwing a party. You invite everyone you know, even that weird guy from the gym. He always smells like tuna fish. Is everyone going to have a good time? Probably not. Use Facebook’s Audience Insights tool. It will help you to know your ideal customer. What are their interests, demographics, and pain points? You can make custom audiences once you’ve painted a clear picture of your target audience. The audiences are tailored to their needs and interests. Each audience has its own. This means your ads will be shown to the most likely to engage with them. This will lead to more clicks. It will also lead to more conversions. In the end, you will get a better return on your investment.

To get started, go to the Meta Business Suite. Then, go to the “Audience” section. From there, you can explore much data about your existing audience. You can see their age, gender, and location. You can also see their interests and behaviors. You can also make custom audiences. You can base them on many factors. This includes website visitors and email subscribers. It also includes those who engage with your content on Facebook or Instagram.

Mistake #2: Your Ads Aren’t Eye-Catching (or Ear-Catching)

For our growing families, 90 days out could mean finding they have little space. At 30 days out, they feel an urgent need for more room and the stress of a growing family.

Once you know the pain points, you can create lead magnets to address them. A lead magnet is a valuable resource that you offer in exchange for a person’s contact info. It’s a way to attract potential leads by offering them something of value, such as an ebook, a checklist, a webinar, or any other solution that relieves their pain.

ChatGPT can even help you brainstorm ideas for lead magnets. Just ask it for suggestions based on the pain points you’ve identified. You’ll get a list of options to choose from.

Facebook Ads: Casting Your Net for $1 Leads

It’s time to create Facebook ads showcasing your lead magnet. The goal is to attract people. They feel the exact pain points you’re targeting. If your lead magnet hits the mark, you’ll see a flood of low-cost leads.
