Converting Your Facebook Leads
Step 1: Create an Ad that Provides Value to Your Audience
The first step is to create an ad that provides value to your audience. Don’t make the ad about real estate. Instead, think about your audience and their intent, and then create an ad off on that. For example, if your audience is upsizing families, you can create a cheat sheet on how to declutter or save space in a tiny home. If your community really likes thrifting, make a map of all the yard sales in the neighborhood. Or, if your tribe has a lot of discretionary income and likes going out, make a guide to all of the new restaurants in the area.
The reason behind this is simple. In order to start a relationship, you have to be able to provide something of value. If that thing of value is valuable enough, the stranger will be willing to exchange their information for that thing.
Step 2: Create the Offer and Set up an Automatic Reply
Create the actual thing that you’re offering and then set up an automatic reply with the link to the thing via email. Your website or a CRM will be able to automate this. This is a pretty much out-of-the-box feature.
Step 3: Follow up with a Phone Call
The most important step is to follow up with a phone call. Yes, you read that right. Call the lead after they’ve downloaded your offer. But don’t pitch them. Instead, create a relationship. Ask them how they found the offer and if it was useful. Ask them about their family and their interests. Show them that you care. By doing this, you’ll create a relationship that will eventually turn into a transaction.
